Elsie E. Frank Long Prairie, formerly of Eagle Bend January 11, 1936 – December 27, 2013 Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clarissa for Elsie E. Frank, age 87, of Long Prairie, formerly of Eagle Bend, who passed away on Friday at Valley View Assisted Living in Long Prairie. Rev. Peter VanderWeyst will be officiating with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Clarissa. Friends may call from 4-8 pm, Monday, December 30, 2013 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home – Stein Chapel in Long Prairie and one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Elsie Elvina Triebenbach was born January 11, 1926 in Todd County, Minnesota, the daughter of Alfred and Myrtle (Larson) Triebenbach. She grew up in the Clotho area, but spent most of her childhood in the Gillette Children’s Hospital. She later worked as a cook and housekeeper in the Twin Cities. She later returned to Long Prairie where she raised her children. She remained in the Todd County area. She enjoyed gardening and watching wildlife. She also did a lot of needlepoint and crocheting over the years. She made many friends wherever she went. Elsie is survived by her daughters, Shirley Kuhnau of Browerville, and Deloris (Terry) Haidle of Queens Creek, AZ, a sister, Eulene Holmquist of Grey Eagle, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Byron Frank, brother and sisters, Elmer Triebenbach, Irene Plemel, Pauline Yff, and Hulda Triebenbach. Casket bearers will be Timothy Kuhnau, Troy Haidle, Avery Kuhnau, Felicia Kuhnau, Sullivan Decker, and Donavon Decker.
