Bennie Sechelski Oct. 3, 1919 - Oct. 2, 2005 A funeral Mass for Bennie Sechelski, 85, of College Station is set for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in College Station. The Rev. Michael O'Conner will officiate. Entombment will be at Monsignor Gleissner Mausoleum at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Bryan. He was born in Anderson and lived most of his life in College Station. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a furniture craftsman at International Furniture Co. and retired after 35 years. Mr. Sechelski was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Brazos County Post No. 4692 and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He was a lifetime 3rd degree member of Knights of Columbus Monsignor Gleissner Council No. 1834 in Bryan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Christine Kapchinski Sechelski.
