Bio

Chesley L. Redus, a retired employee of Central Power and Light, former employee of Southern Pacific Railroad and board member of the Suicide Prevention Association, died Nov. 6, 1996. He was 95. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two sons, Lewis Redus II of Sunrise Beach and Bill Redus of Robstown; two daughters, Sue Payne of Point Blank and Cecilia Williams of Houston; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 9 at Cage-Mills Funeral Home, downtown. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Corpus Christi Caller-Times (TX) - Saturday, November 9, 1996
