Cleora W.Schwaderer June 27,1919-August 24,2015 Cleora Wauneta Schwaderer, 96, passed away August 24, 2015 at the Chimney Rock Villa Nursing Home in Bayard, Nebraska.Cleora was born on June 27, 1919 in Guide Rock, Nebraska to Jesse Millard and Esther Elizabeth (Guy) Kirkpatrick. She graduated from High School in Inavale, Nebraska and then moved to Box Butte County with her family in the 1930’s. She attended college at Chadron State and went on to teach in rural schools around Alliance and Box Butte County. She was a “by the books teacher” but was also friendly and quirky with a great sense of humor. She loved her animals and was a good friend to all who knew her. On December 24, 1945 Cleora married George Naeve in Oshkosh, Nebraska. George was killed in a fall from a well drilling rig in 1949. She married Arthur “Shorty” Schwaderer on December 14, 1958 in Alliance. They moved to Bayard, Nebraska in 1986 where Art passed away in 1988.She was preceded by her parents, both husbands, brothers Daryl and Glade Kirkpatrick, her sister Guyla Thomas and stepson Dave Schwaderer.Funeral services will be held August 28, 2015 at the Bates-Gould Chapel. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
