Bio
Margie Knight, 84, of Wichita Falls, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015. Graveside service at Charlie Cemetery in Charlie, Texas. Margie was born on April 10, 1931 in Petrolia, Texas to the late Finis Columbus and Elsie (Walker) Tolleson. On December 8, 1947, she married J.R. Knight. She was a faithful member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church for over 60 years. Throughout the years, Margie worked as a med aide in several nursing home facilities. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, and spending time with her family. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Knight; her son, Mike Knight; and five brothers. She is survived by her children, Pat Beeks and husband Dallas, Debbie Knight, and Brenda Mannen all of Wichita Falls; her brother, John Henry Tolleson of Houston; five grandchildren, Roxann, Shawn, Kyle, Michael, and Summer; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
