Great Falls —Albert Andrew Allen, 96, of Great Falls passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 of natural causes at Park Place Health Care Center. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Highland Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of O'Connor Funeral Home. Albert was born on December 9, 1918 in Saltillo, TX to Ira and Thessa Allen. Albert attended school until third grade but went on to join the Air Force during World War II. He started at the bottom and worked his way up the ranks eventually becoming a Staff Sergeant before retiring after twenty years of service. Albert mastered the trade of being a cook in the Air Force and continued making a living as a cook after he retired. He was also a professional entertainer, performing at small venues in the communities in which he lived. Albert was a born again Christian and had an unfathomable love for the Lord. He was married to Anabel and the two remained inseparable until her passing. Albert is survived by his sisters, Alene Buchanan and Betty Evans; brother Paul Allen; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anabel; parents Ira and Thessa Allen; sister Lois Morgan; and brothers Ivan Allen, Noble Allen, Nolan Allen, and Duane Allen.
