Bio

Joseph Peter was the son of Simon and Mary Peter. He married Kathrin Mahert/Manart in 1845 in Austria, and they had three children: Kathrin b. 1850, Andrew b. 1857, and Joseph Jr. b. 1859. The family immigrated to America, arriving in New York on 14 Oct 1881.
