Bureau County Tribune (Princeton, Illinois) ~28 Mar 1930 page 5 column 1 Leanna Vivian Williams, youngest daughter of John H. and Hannah E. Hammer Williams, was born December 24, 1884, in North Prairie, LaMoille Township, Bureau County, where she grew to womanhood. February 17, 1906, she was married to Floyd Daniels, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Daniels. To this union were born five children, four of whom survive. For two years after their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Daniels resided on the Daniels homestead at Heaton's Point. They then moved to Elkton, S. Dakota where they lived until 1915, when they moved to Cole Harbor, N. Dakota. Here they remained until about three years ago, when they returned to Princeton. Soon after their return to Princeton, Mrs. Daniels became seriously ill, and submitted to an operation at the Perry Memorial Hospital. For a time she seemed to improve and in February of last year, the family moved to Racine, Wisconsin. After a short time, Mrs. Daniels again became ill and since then has steadily failed. In August she was brought back to Princeton and taken to the hospital for treatment, after which she was removed to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Daniels, where she was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Marian. About a month ago, she became so much worse, her husband was summoned to her bedside, and he, too, has since been in constant attendance upon her. On Saturday, March 22, 1930, she passed away, after months of terrible suffering, at the age of 45 years, 3 months and 8 days. Mrs Daniels is survived by husband, four children, Donald, Marian, Maxine, and Gertrude, one brother, Dr. S. E. Williams of Manlius and three sisters, Mrs. Lincoln H. Cass of LaMoille, Mrs. George McDonald of Princeton, and Mrs. George Lorentz of Peru, Iowa. Six nephews, John Cass, Allen Cass, Myron Cass, John Williams, Kennison Williams, and Gordon McDonald acted as pall bearers.
