Bio
Gwen Welch, 88, Pocatello, passed away, August 13, 2015. Gwen was born on January 7, 1927 to Leo Roberts and Elva Call at Toponce, Idaho. She married Dale Welch on March 26, 1947. They were later sealed in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple in May 1975. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and reading. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Gwen is survived by a daughter-in-law, Pauline Welch of Ogden, Utah; 2 grandchildren, Rhonda (Rod) Norman and Miranda Kennedy; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale; 2 sisters; 5 brothers; a son, Gary; and her parents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, 232-0542. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Tuesday evening and one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Lund Cemetery, Lund, Idaho.
