Laurine Marcella (Divis) Novacek, 85, widow of John, of Lincoln, and formerly of Dwight, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She was born on June 2, 1930, near Loma, Nebraska. On June 14, 1951, she was united in marriage to John H. Novacek. The couple was blessed with nine children. Survivors include: children, Eloise (Larry) Schwartz, David (Kathy) Novacek, Mary Kaye (Chuck) Kost, Donald Novacek, Lori (Dana) Miller, and Clair Novacek; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters; brothers, Arthur (Leona) Divis, Arnold (Ilene) Divis, and sister, Florence Parnham; brothers-in-law, Frank (Cecilia) Novacek, Alfred Novacek. Preceded in death by: husband, John; daughter, Joyce; and two infant sons, James and John. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 14, 2015, at Assumption Catholic Church, Dwight.
