Obituary William Howard McCord was born October 20, 1923, to the parentage of John Newton and Essie Mae McCord in Coppell, Texas. He attended school in Grapevine, Texas. He met and married Ruth King in 1968 and to this union no children were born. William was employed as a carpenter and retired after many years of service. He loved to fly planes and fulfilled his dream to become a pilot. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra McCord; parents; and brother, Frankie McCord.
