Bio

Robert was the son of US Naval Commander Albert William Cushnie and Ruth Patience Dennis. Their “normal” residence was Oahu Hawaii. I believe The Commander may have been stationed in Chicago when Robert was born. Robert had two sisters Barbara and Brenda. Robert followed in his father’s foot steps and joined the US Navy in Oct 1955. He gained his Doctorate of Dentistry while in the Navy. He married Shirley F and they had two sons, Charles & Carl and one daughter Colleen. In 1957 Robert was the rank of Lieutenant. After he was Discharged he had a successful Private Dental Practice in a small shopping Centre at Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe. Robert & Shirley lived at Kailuana Loop Kailua Honolulu, Oahu one house back from the beach. At the time of his death in 2015 Robert & Shirley had Nine Grandchildren.
