Burial will be in Nevels Memorial Park in Tahoka under the direction of White Funeral Home. She died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2000, in Lubbock. She was born Feb. 2, 1932, in Eldorado, Okla. She attended Eldorado and Lubbock schools. She moved to Lynn County from Plainview in 1997. She married H.P. "Sonny" Lewis on Feb. 21, 1948, in Lubbock. She worked in the dietary department for a nursing home in Plainview. She was a Baptist. Parents were William and Della (Daniels) Carmichael.
