Married first, ~1860 CZ, Wencil (James) "Jim" Kasper (~1833 CZ-~1885 KS) Six known children Married second, Mar 10 1887 Washington Co., KS, Wesley Hiett No known children Married third, Josef Bruno No children ---------------------------------- Died, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Pokorney, in Ord, Monday at 1:30 am, Mrs. Rosa Bruna. The deceased was 76 years and six months old. About two weeks ago her five children returned with her from Hanover, Kansas, where they had gone several days before in response to a message informing them of their mother's illness. The day after they reached Ord, Mrs. Bruna submitted to an operation from the effects of which she seemed to be recovering nicely. She has had a great deal of trouble in her life and has grieved continually since the death of a dearly loved niece, and also of her daughter, Mrs. Anton Adamek, who died a few years ago. The deceased had been gradually growing weaker until death claimed her as above stated. She has five living children, Ed and John Kasper and Mesdames, Joe Mishka, C.O. Philbrick and John Pokorney. The father of her children died thirty-one years ago in Kansas. After living in Nebraska for several years she went back to Kansas and was married to Mr. Bruna, who died about 3 years ago. Up to the time of her sickness a few weeks ago she had enjoyed good health the most of her life. The funeral was held yesterday forenoon, conducted by the Catholic priest at the Catholic church and the body was laid to rest in the Ord cemetery. The Ord Quiz - Thur, Apr 13 1916, Pg 1, Col 1
