Northwest Herald Sunday May 19, 2002 Page 16 Nicholas D. Quinnett Rolling Meadows - Nicholas D. Quinnett, 68, of Rolling Meadows, died Thursday, May 16, 2002 at home after a battle with Mesothelioma. He was a lifelong sheet metal worker and a member of Local 73. Mr. Quinnett formerly was an alderman in Rolling Meadows for 10 years. Survivors include his wife, Corrine, nee Rode; eight children, Michele (Jay) Domek, Michael (Deborah), Mark (Lori), Miriam, Maureen (Carl) Bruzzini, Martin, Matthew and Nicole (Louis) Rotella; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Quinnett and Leo (Albina) Quinnett and a sister, Anne (Jim) Burnett. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Bernice Laurie, Pat Quinnett and Larry Quinnett. Visitation Sunday 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at the Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, May 20, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Palatine. Interment St. Michael Cemetery in Palatine. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1609 Garden St., Santa Barbara, CA 93101 or Hospice of Northeastern Illinois, 410 Hager St., Barrington, IL 60010.
