Bio
Gloria Dean Searles, 80, of Kentwood, LA., passed away on August 2, 2015 in the comfort of her own home with family. Visitation will be Tuesday August 4th, 2015 from 9 AM until service at 11 AM at Hartman Funeral Home of McComb. Pastor Ron Hidalgo will officiate and burial will be in the Mars Hill Cemetery. Gloria was born December 10, 1934 in Smithdale, MS. She was the daughter of the late, Quincy L. and Jewel Weathersby Adams. Gloria was a member of the First Christian Church of McComb and the owner and operator of the Mole Hole Retail Shop in McComb. She graduated from the Mars Hill High School and attended almost all the Reunions, except her last one. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was generous to all her family; she enjoyed Ball Room Dancing and also collected old antiquities. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Renae and Ron Hidalgo of McComb; Dana L. Cutrer Jr., and Angie of McComb; Kim and Charlie Schwartz of Kentwood, LA; three brothers, three sisters, six grandchildren and five great- grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and one on the way.
