Chiles, Alice, Texas death from pneumonia following measles The 1860 census records S M living in the Spring Hill community of Union Parish, Louisiana, with father Benj Dildy, a 40 year old farmer born in North Carolina, and 9 other Dildys: A. J., 43, f; P., 16,f; E. R., 16, m; T., 13, f; W. A., 11, m; and N. L. 10, f; all born in North Carolina. Born in Louisiana, were Margaret and three brothers: B. F., 8; Jn. W., 3; and C. E., 4 months. The 1870 census records Susan living in Saline, Sevier, Arkansas, with father Benjamin, mother Absyler J., and brothers: Benj. F., John W., and Chas. E. Susan married G W Goyne January 25, 1877, in Arkansas. (Ancestry.com.
