Bio
Harry Otto Siercks was born to his loving parents Otto Gottlieb and Matha M. Siercks on Saturday December 19, 1903 in Washington County Nebraska. Harry moved to Dodge County when he was three years old. Harry attended country elementary school district 22 and Midland Lutheran College. Harry was united in marriage to Alyce Kruza on Wednesday January 24, 1934 in West Point, Cuming County by county Judge McDonald, the couple was blessed with a son over the years of their marriage. Harry and Alyce farmed a farm about ten miles south of Scribner with an address of Ames Nebraska and the GPS of 41.545608, -96.661527 which was equal distance from Scribner, Hooper, and North Bend. All of these towns were in Dodge County. My folks lived on the farm next to their farm. In 1945 the Siercks' moved to 1518 North Clarkson in Fremont, Dodge County with the GPS of 41.443257, -96.489929. Harry lost his son Robert on Sunday June 26, 1955 who was fatally injured in a single car accident at the young age of nineteen. Harry was very devastated. Harry was employed by the Rogers Tent and Awning, Fremont Golf Club, and the Plumfield Nursery for thirty two years. Sadly Harry passed on Saturday February 6, 1988 at the Dodge County Memorial Hospital Skilled Care Center in Fremont at the age of 84 years, 1 month, 18 days, he lived a total of 30,730 days. Harry had a graveside family service which was held Thursday February 11, 1988 at 2p in the Memorial Cemetery. No visitation and funeral service were held. The Ludvigsen Mortuary was in charge of his arrangements. Harry was interred in the Memorial Cemetery in section b, lot 164, grave 5. Harry's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Harry by a family friend Loren R.
