Bio

Mrs. Aston, of Hamilton, AL. formerly of Winfield, AL., was the daughter of Edward and Willie Smith Erwin. She attended Harding Christian College in Searcy, AR. and retired from Munsingwear Corportation at Guin, AL. in 1988 with 26 years of service. She was an active faithful member of New Hope Church of Christ, Guin Church of Christ and most recently, Hamilton Church of Christ where she helped for many years with the Clothing Room and World Bible School. Betty was a caregiver for many years to her husband, Frank who died in 1996. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, J. O. Erwin; and four sisters, Edith Huguley, Mamie Aldridge, Ann Weeks and Laverne Johnson. Funeral Services were held Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 3:00 PM from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Winfield City Cemetery with Miles Funeral Home of Winfield directing the service.
