Bio
Son of the late Joe and Mabel Margaret Spike Karnes, he was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Huetig Anderson, Doris Morten and Joan Goodwin; brother, Dean Karnes; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Helen Delozier. He was survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce DeLozier Karnes (married on December 30, 1961, at the United Methodist Church in Randolph, NE); daughter, Debra Konken (Kelly); son, Joel Karnes (Lisa); grandchildren, Kelsey Dailey (Dane), Alison Karnes, Sarah Karnes and Craig Karnes; and an extended family of relatives and friends. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Laurel, the Laurel Lions Club, Masonic Lodge and the Cedar County Feeder's Association. Funeral arrangements were by Hasemann Funeral Home.
