Charles T. Novosad 1940-2015 Charles Thomas Novosad, 75, passed away on July 17, 2015 in Houston, Texas. He was born on January 20, 1940 and grew up in Wallis, Texas. Charles was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Wallis High School in 1958. He then went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin School of Pharmacy in 1963 and was a life member of the Texas Exes Association. Charles was a registered pharmacist that practiced in all facets of pharmacy for 52 years. His greatest joys in life were working hard, straight-ahead jazz, and traveling. His strong work ethic was only out-weighed by his generosity and love for family and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Frances Novosad. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Novosad, sister, Erline Gilley, sons; John Novosad and Fran Benson, Andrew Novosad and wife Meredith. Charles is also survived by his beloved grandchildren; Margaret Rose Novosad and William Andrew Novosad. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Houston, Texas. Funeral service will be on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc, Houston, Texas 77024. Charles will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be Andrew Novosad, John Novosad, Ron Dasher, Robert Caldarera, Andrew Davis, and David Renshaw. Published in Houston Chronicle on July 22, 2015
