Mrs. Goldie Opal Plagmann, 61, native of Iowa, died yesterday in Modesto. She had lived in this district 11 years. Mrs. Plagmann was the mother of Christine Lightner of Modesto, Shirley Giarratana of Davis, Yolo County, Joyce Baird of Fullerton, Orange County, Doris McQuarrie of La Habre, Orange Couty, Naomi Nelson of Walla Walla, Wash., and Raymond Nelson of Denver, Colo. She also leaves 19 grandchildren; two great grandchildren, two sisters, Nellie Granfor, North Dakota, Virginia Salman, Daly City, San Mateo County, and two brothers, Sherman McConnell and Walter McConnell, both of North Dakota.
