Bio

The 1900 census showed Sophy living with parents Sophy and Albert Hennig and siblings: sister Laura, and brothers Walter, Oscar, and Gus. The family is living in eastern Travis County, Texas. The 1920 census finds Sophy living at home with her parents and younger sister Clara. In the 1940 census, she is reported living in rural Travis County, Texas, with her husband Rudolph, a farmer, and her mother. In a 1952 Austin city directory, Sophie, now a widow, is noted living in Austin, Texas, where she works as a cook. Her usual residence shortly prior to her death was reported as Manor, Travis, Texas, on her death certificate.
