Bio
David was called home by his Heavenly Father on Sunday morning, July 20, 2014. He was accompanied by his beloved canine friend, Rudi. David was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on February 21, 1964, to Dolores and David Menzdorf, Sr. Davy lost his father at the age of seventeen. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Irene Nichter; paternal grandparents, Joe and Dorothy Menzdorf; uncles Dwight Landua and Dan Barber; aunt Gay Zimmer; and cousin Glen Menzdorf. David was blessed with a strong faith in his Lord and Savior. Because of his love for plants and flowers and beautifying gardens, he surely has been assigned a plot of heavenly soil for landscaping and maintaining. David is survived by his mother Dolores and her husband Ralph Rogers; sister DeAnn, her husband Mark Hauver, and beloved niece Ashley and nephew Aaron of Fountain Hills AZ; six uncles, eight aunts, and more than 40 cousins, and many friends to mourn this untimely loss but with the hope of eternal life and everlasting peace. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 1st, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 411 N. Town East Blvd, Mesquite TX 75150, with Pastor John Schelter officiating.
