ELBERTA -- Thomas H. Carver, 90, a native of Bon Secour and resident of Elberta died Friday in a local nursing facility. He is survived by his wife, Rita Carver of Elberta; son, Thomas A. Carver of Foley; daughter Jean Giese of Montana; sister Josie Kelley of Foley; four step children, John Cloose, Jim Cloose, Mary Williams and Wayne Cloose, all of Pensacola; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Foley with burial to follow in the Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale. The family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. today at Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. The family request that donations be made to St. Pauls Episcopal Church in lieu of flowers.
