The Hillsboro Mirror , Wednesday, February 23, 1944 Following an extended illness, King Beryl Ferguson passed away at the family residence eight miles east of Hillsboro at 11:55 o'clock Tuesday night, Feb. 22, aged 46 years. Funeral services will be held at the Marshall & Marshall chapel at 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Wood Berryhill of Penelope. Interment will be in Brandon Cemetery. Mr. Ferguson was born at Brandon in Hill County and had resided in and near Brandon all of his life. He was married to Miss Artie Eula Carson March 25, 1927. Surviving are his widow; three children, King Beryl Jr., Edwin Lanell and Patricia Lynn, all at home, two sisters, Mrs. Jesse Jackson of Onley and Mrs. Elsie Harwell of Brandon.
