The Bonham Daily Favorite, Bonham, Texas, Sunday, 23 Feb 1986, Page 2 Edgar Vernie Hall of 808 W. 14th, passed away Saturday morning in Citizens General Hospital in Greenville after a two-month illnesss. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Dickey Golden at 3 p.m. Sunday in Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Dodd City Cemetery. He was born Oct. 26, 1903 in Fannin County, the son of Richard D. and Ida Van Hooser Hall. He married Opal Smith July 21, 1985 in Bonham. He was a retired carpenter and a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of the home; daughters, Evelyn White of Fort Worth, Joyce Ann Quilanpan of Dallas and Rita Lyon of Leonard; sons, Billie Ray Hall of Amarillo and Morris Hall of Helena, Mont.; brothers, John Hall of Armstrong, Collideg Hall and Ralph Hall of Caddo, Okla., Charles Hall of Jacksonville, Fla.; and sister, Opal Vineyard of Abernathy. .
