Bio
Funeral services were held last week for Andros Clifton Peck who died at the Hawarden Hospital on March 13. The son of Otis and Addie Peck, he was born Sept. 27, 1893 [NOTE: Tombstone is engraved with 9-24-1893] at Story County, Iowa. He moved to the Alcester area as a small child and moved to Hawarden in 1926. Mr. Peck was united in marriage to Fern St. John on Nov. 15, 1920, and was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by children: Mrs. R.A. (Lorriane) Winchester, Bryn Maur, Pa.; Andros Peck, Rialto, Calif.; Mrs. Donald (Karen) Maloney, Sioux City, Ia.; Mrs. Chester (Adeline) Cable, Russel, Kan.; and Herbert Peck of Hawarden; sisters Mrs. Fay Smith, Yankton, S.D.; Mrs. George Smith, Renton, Wash.; and Mrs. Ona Millikan, Sioux Falls, S.D.; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
