Funeral service for Gwendolyn B. Williams, 89, of Cushing will be at 4 p.m. today at the Bethany Baptist Church with Bro. Ed Williamson officiating. Burial will be held in the Fenton Cemetery under the direction of the Dickie Allen Funeral Directors. Mrs. Williams passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015, in Cushing. She was born Jan. 18, 1926, in Cushing, Texas, to John and Ollie Gerturde Satterwhite Blanchard. She lived most of her life in Cushing and was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church. She worked as a teller of the Cushing Bank and as a clerk and manager for W and W Variety Store. He heart's desire was her love for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.B. "Toad" Williams; infant son, Morris Williams; and grandson, John Duckett. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Neva and R.K. Watson of Rusk, Texas, and Elaine and James Ham of Cushing, Texas; sister, Sybil Rawlinson of Nacogdoches, Texas; brother-in-law, Bill Williams of Pasadena, Texas; grandsons, Toadie Duckett and wife, Tammy, Keith Ham, and Chris Ham and wife, Jodie; and great-grandsons, John Colton Duckett, Tate Duckett and Bryant Ham.
