Daughter of Lucy Ann Madden and Isaac Dalrymple, she was born in Clark County, Ohio, 11 Dec 1832. She married William L. Price on 28 Sep, 1851 in Grant County, Indiana. She was the mother of six children: Sarah A. Price, born February 1852 in Indiana; Lucy E. Price, born 1854; James Hixon Price, born April 1857 in Johnston City, Williamson County, Illinois; Pryor L. Price, born May 1858, in Missouri; Eliza J. Price, born 1864, in Missouri City, Fort Bend, Texas; Alveron P. "Alva" Price, born 13 January 1872, in Gillman City, Harrison County, Missouri.
