Steve (Cody) Everhart, age 79, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at the McAlester Regional Hospital, of McAlester, Oklahoma. Steve was born in Quitaque, Texas on September 9, 1935, a son of the late Vera (Witherspoon) and Ruie B. Everhart. Steve worked as a mechanic. He attended Southside Baptist Church, of Wilburton, Oklahoma. Steve served in the U.S. Air Force. Steve was the husband of Shirley (Clow) Everhart. On May 3, 1956, they were married in Dewey county. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, several other family members. Graveside Service at Damon Valley Cemetery, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 with Rev. Jim White officiating.
