Alice Sue (Pitzer) Bolyard , age 80, of Love Ave., Grafton, WV passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born August 11,1934 in Grafton, daughter of the late Carl Wibur Pitzer Sr., and Gertrude Elizabeth (Johnson) Pitzer. Surviving is one son, Randy Lee Bolyard of Grafton, one sister, Annabelle Mason of Unicoi, TN; three nephews, Bill Fezeall and John Fezeall both of Tampa, FL, and Brian Mason of Hampton Roads, VA; and one great niece and one great nephew In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Peck Bolyard, who passed away January 9, 2002; one brother Carl Pitzer Jr. who died at infancy and one sister, Shirley Fezeall. Alice was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. She graduated from Grafton High School with the class of 1953. She served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1961. Alice enjoyed her family, reading, listening to music, loved gardening and flowers. She was a homemaker and housewife. Family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home on Monday, July 6,2015 from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday , July 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bert Coffman officiating and internment will be at the West Virginia National Cemetery.
