William “Bob” Kamp, 93 of Paducah passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Medco Center of Paducah. Mr. Kamp was a retired heavy equipment operator with J.A. Jones Construction, a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 181, a Mason, and a member of the Baptist faith. Surviving are one son, Robert “Bobby” H. (Gayle) Kamp of Lafayette, IN; one daughter, Judy Rogers of Paducah; one sister, Florence Steele of Oregon; three grandchildren, Sherrie (Jerry) Kamp Meiser of Lafayette, IN, Bethany (Chris) Rogers Collins, and Andrew Michael Rogers, both of Paducah; three great grandchildren, Cameron Poe Collins, Gabriel Charles Collins, and Brooklyn Paige Collins, all of Paducah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Kamp and Vilena Kamp Robinson; his wife , Morlettia Floyd Kamp, and two sisters. Services will be 12:00 pm Wednesday at Lindsey Funeral Home, with Bro. George Darnell officiating. Burial will follow at Brooks Memorial Park. Friends may call after 9:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
