A daughter of Thomas Friend Wood and Willie Belle Holley. She married William Glen Reid and they had three sons; Douglas Milton Reid, Charles Duane Reid and James Lee Reid. They divorced on 14 October 1968 in Mount Pleasant, Titus County, Texas. Her second marriage was to Hollis Hatcher on 06 April 1972 in Liberty County, Texas.
