Euel E. "Papa Blue" Denham was born December 11, 1921 in Gateswood, AL and passed away June 30 2015 in Pensacola, FL. Blue was an amazing man and great provider for his family. He served in the U. S. Navy for twenty years, starting in 1939. Followed by a twenty year career as an instructor with NADEP. He had a great love for motorcycles and continued to ride through the young age of 82. Papa Blue touched the lives of many and he will be forever missed. Blue is now in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with his mother, Floria Hastings; father, John Jackson Denham; sisters, Mrytle Hedden and Ann Hopkins and brother, John "Dubs" Denham. Blue is survived by his loving family: wife of 68 years, Margaret "Betty" Zeller Denham; four children, Michael (Cyndi) Denham, Thomas (JoAnne) Denham, Mary (Greg) Stritch and Jennifer (Danny) Minton; sister, Peggy Henderson; four grandchildren, Brian (Carol) Denham, Misty (Richard) Delarosa, John Minton and Michael Minton; and three great-grandchildren, Sophia Delarosa, J.D. Minton and Miles Delarosa. "May the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace." Amen Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2015 with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Pensacola. Funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2015 at Little Flower Catholic Church with burial to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
