Fletcher Flashes, printed in The Lawton Constitution Weekly dated Aug 6, 1914. J. C. London who has been confined to his bed for several weeks died Tuesday, July 21st, at 1 o'clock P.M., at his home southeast of this place. Age 80 years. Cause of death was cancer of the stomach. Deceased was a pioneer citizen of this community and his host of friends will regret to hear of his death. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, two sons and three daughters, S. P. London, a resident of this place and George London, who lives southeast of here near his father's home and Mrs. Earnest Rogers southeast of town, Mrs. Dick Thomas of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Ben Birdwell of Blanchard, Okla. James married Letitia West, March 29, 1860 in Grayson County, Texas, after her death me married Mrs. Lucinda Driggs, August 12,1908 in Comanche County, Oklahoma. He was the son of Charles Marion Henry London and Cynthia Burks.
