Bio
Robert R. Webb, Jr. of Round Rock, Texas, died on July 5, 2006 at the age of 74. He was born on July 30, 1931, in Seagraves, Texas, to Robert and Bonnie Webb. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1954, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas, and Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, Tennessee. Upon graduation, he moved back to Texas and practiced optometry until he retired in 1999. Prior to his retirement, he was active in the Rotary Club, the Texas and American Optometric Associations, and the Methodist Church. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bonnie Webb, his brother, James Webb, and his two sisters, Matilda Emert and Ruth Christopher. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Roma Webb; daughters, Jean Marie Webb and Jo Kathryn Morse; grandson Shane Alexander Morse; granddaughter Virginia Lea Morse; and by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 8, in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks with Reverend John Clifford officiating. Interment followrd at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
