Bio
Sandy McCarty, 61, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015. Sandy was born June 28, 1953, to Bruno and Dorothy Doskocil Kaulfus in Fort Worth. She grew up in Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University in 1975. She taught fifth grade for several years then became an active part of McCarty & Associates where she added to their success over the last 30 years, while raising two daughters in a close-knit family. She will be remembered for her strong devotion to her two girls, husband, family and friends. Sandy had an embracing smile, a feisty determination and a fun-loving personality that was open to all. She loved to garden, spend time with her girls and grandkids, surprise people with things that made them happy, and consistently worked "behind the scenes" to make good things happen for others. She was preceded in death by her father, Bruno Kaulfus. Survivors: Her husband, Dennis McCarty; daughters, Cortney Davenport and husband, Mark, and Denay Moor and husband, David; stepson, Dennis Dean McCarty; grandsons, Mark V. and Max Davenport; mother, Dorothy Kaulfus; brother, Daniel Kaulfus; sister, Carolyn Williams; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
