Bio

Ellen M. Johnston, 67, died at 12:05 p. Sunday in her home. Mrs. Johnston was born June 16, 1872, in Martinsville, the daughter of John and Eliza Ann Roberts. She was twice married, her first husband' being Charles M. Melton, to whom she was married Feb. 27, 1889, at Marshall. She married John T.J ohnston, Oct. 3, 1917, at Fremont, Mich. He survives with one daughter, C. C. Stubbs of Clinton. There is one sister living, Mrs. Jane Hazen, of Meridian, and two grandchildren. She was a member of the Clinton Methodist church.
