Bio

Jesse was a clerk and wood finisher. He died from drowning, probably a suicide. Despondent over a recent divorce and without funds for his rent, it was assumed that he took his own life by jumping into the canal at the foot of Lincoln Avenue in Goshen. His body was found in the race of the Goshen Milling Company's flour mills.
