METCALF, Patricia Diane, age 47 of Estill Springs, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2006. Diane was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and graduated from Franklin County High School in 1977. Her son, Curtis Metcalf preceded her in death in 1995. Diane is survived by her husband of 29 years, Gordon Metcalf; daughter, Amber Metcalf of Estill Springs; son, Scott (Jill) Metcalf of Estill Springs; grandchildren, Baylor and Brody Metcalf and Jadon Garza; parents, Morton and Rose Stephens of Belvidere; brothers, Timmy Stephens of Sherwood, Clifford Stephens of Estill Springs, Elvis (Mary) Stephens and Ricky (Katy) Stephens of Belvidere; sister, Loretta (Eddie) Williams of Winchester; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2006 from the Roy B. Watson Chapel of the Watson-North Funeral Home with Rev. Malcolm Gardner officiating. Interment followed in Franklin Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006 from 5-9 p.m. at Watson-North Funeral Home.
