OBITUARY - PORCHER - Mrs. Ella Hollis [sic] Porcher, 80, widow of George S. Porcher, Sr., passed away Saturday evening in a local hospital. She was born in Giddings, Texas and had lived in Corpus Christi 60 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by three sons, Robert Porcher, George Porcher, Jr., both of Houston, Hollis Porcher of Corpus Christi; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Cage-Mills Downtown Chapel with Rev. Hugh White, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to the Kidney Foundation of the Coastal Bend or the First Presbyterian Church.
