Ringling – Memorial Services for Mary Sue (Wagner) Pemberton, 75, of Ringling are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling with Bro. Ronnie Carroll officiating. Services are under the care of Alexander Gray Crematory of Ringling. Sue was born on May 1, 1940 at Orr to the late Mr. Robert William Wagner and Mrs. Gladys Grace (Whisenhunt) Wagner. She departed this life Wednesday evening June 3, 2015 at her home in Ringling. Sue was born and raised in Ringling living most of her life here with the exception of residing in California for a short while. Sue worked as a nurse’s aid for several years being employed for the Healdton Hospital for over 15 years. She had a deep commitment for caring for others. She and Mr. Alton Pemberton were married in the mid 60s and remained together for 28 years always residing in Ringling. She loved to fish and always enjoyed picking up pecans, gardening and canning. She had most recently attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Ringling. Preceding her in death were her Parents; grandson, L.T. Pemberton; brothers, Jimmy and Leon Wagner and a sister, Ira Lou Beckwith. Survivors include daughters, Debra Sue Baisdon of Wilson, Shelley Renae Pemberton of Healdton, and Elizabeth Gene Kerley of Ringling; sons, Kevin Lee Pemberton and Kelen Leon Pemberton, both of Ringling; sister, Joann Wagner; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; a very special niece, Gracie Horner of Enid; numerous other family and friends.
