Mrs. Audrey Mae Martin, 73 of Atmore, died Saturday, March 10, 2001, in Houston,Texas. Mrs. Martin was retired from Southland Telephone Co. as an office manager. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Sadie Rhodes Garrett and two brothers, Dalton Garrett and Wayne Garrett. She is survived by a son, Guy Martin and his wife, Kimberly of Baton Rouge, La.; two daughters, Beverly Morley and her husband, Mike of Daphne and Karen Hadley and her husband, Jim of Katy, Texas; two brothers, Lamar Garrett of Red Level and Avis Garrett of Grand Bay; five sisters, Katherine Luker of Atmore, Louise Hayes of Atmore, Artie Brown of Perdido, Barbara D'Andrea of Davisville and Francis Fowler of Atmore and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 14 at 10 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Odom officiating. Burial will be at Pine Barren Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Guy Martin Jr., C. J. Martin, Jason Morley, Frank Hovell, Haskew Middleton and Glenn Helton. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Hayles. Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
