Gordon Glynn Godair Funeral services for Mr. Gordon G. Godair will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with the Reverends Jerry Crise and Bob Galloway officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana. Mr. Godair, age 89, of Ball, entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. Mr. Godair was a Mason, a member of the El Karuba Shrine Temple, charter member of the Gardner Masonic Lodge and a member of Curtis T. Hines Masonic Lodge of Tioga. He was a 32 degree Mason with York and Scottish Rites. Mr. Godair was also a past president of the Cenla Shrine Club. Mr. Godair served his country as a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Dixie Tie & Timber Company of Elizabeth, La before retiring as a forester with Roy O. Martin Company. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marian Godair; parents, Louie and Jennie Godair; three sisters, Lois Lane, Joyce Colclasure and Carol Clements. He is survived by his daughter, Glynda Lincecum (John "Buck") of Ball; two brothers, Homer Godair (Jean) of Snyder, Texas and Truman Godair (Alphie) of Carlisle, Arkansas; three grandchildren Matthew Lincecum (Liz) of Boyce, John Lincecum (Tricia) of Ball and Luke Lincecum (Michelle) of Ball; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may call at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until of services. The family would like to give a special thanks to Tioga Manor Community Care Center and special caregivers, Geraldine Powell and Virginia Green. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Shriners Crippled Children Hospital, 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana 71103 or Palestine United Methodist Church, 306 Tioga Rd., Ball, Louisiana.
