Bio

Waxahachie Daily Light; May 3, 1935 Funeral services for Lawrence Drozd, two and a half years of age, who was drowned Wednesday in an underground cistern at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Drozd, in Jourdanton, will be held in Ennis Saturday at St. John’s Church with the Rev. F. Kowalski and the Rev. Vincent Micols officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The body was taken to Ennis today, to the home of Mrs. Drozd’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lenicek, where it will remain until time for the funeral services. Surviving are the parents, three sisters, Milota, Georgia, and another sister six months of age; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lenicek and Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Drozd of New Prague, Minn.
