Jesse Alton Hooks ANTIOCH, CALIFORNIA — Jesse Allen Hooks died Oct. 10, 2003, in Antioch. He was 61. A native of Port Lavaca, Texas, Jesse was a member of the Boilermakers Union and was employed by Todd Shipyards in Alameda for many years. He is survived by his daughters, Rhona Madden and husband Pat, Sherri Smith and husband Gary and Jesica Martin and husband Rick; sons, Steven Noegel and and wife Mary, Keith Hooks and wife Cindy; a nephew, Jody Hooks; many aunts, uncles and cousins and the person who held a very special place in his heart, Sue Hooks Gentry. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents Jesse J. Hooks and Fern Fritz, and a brother Loy Lynn Hooks. Visitation will be at 1 p.m on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Higgins Chapel in Antioch. Higgins Chape!
