Dorothy D Murphy Graveside services for Dorothy Dean Murphy, 86, of Smithville, TN were held Thursday, January 1, 2004 at Whorton Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Murphy passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Baptist DeKalb Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Homer Murphy; parents, Bill & Ida Fitts McBride; daughter, Gloria Cooper and son, Billy Frank Murphy. She is survived by three daughters, Linda McCool of Michigan, Kim Peterson of McMinnville and Tracy Murphy of Virginia; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville, TN was in charge of the arrangements.
