Evelyn Thomas Obituary Evelyn Thomas, 90, of Sun City, AZ passed away August 24, 2004 surrounded by her loving husband, Andrew of 67 years, family members and pastor Mark Stevens of Bellevue Heights American Baptist Church. She was born in Texas and moved to Kansas as a child where she lived until 1960 when she and Andy moved to Phoenix. They have lived in Sun City since 1988. She worked at Orangewood American Baptist Estates from 1962 - 1982 as secretary and then as assistant administrator. She is survived by her husband Andrew, sister-in-law Freda and husband Matt Deisz, Brother-in-law Theodore Thomas of Blairsville, Ga., numerous nieces and nephews, in Phoenix and Kansas. Services will be in the chapel at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, located at 15826 Del Webb Blvd. Family viewing at 12:30pm, visitation at 1:00pm and service at 2:00pm on August 28, 2004. Make contributions to Alzheimer's Assn. or the Bus Ministry at Bellevue Heights American Baptist Church.
