Ellen Elizabeth (Wigley) McEntire, 81, of Booneville, Arkansas died June, 15, 2014. She was born August 23, 1932 in Waldron the daughter of Gilbert Monroe and Rosie Lee (Scarbrough) Wigley. She was of the Baptist faith. Ellen worked at the Ace Comb plant, ran her own Cafe-Broadway cafe, owned and operated the McEntire Trading Post which was an antique store and The Rock Store. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Monroe and Rosie Lee Wigley; her husband of fifty years, D.W. McEntire; one son, James Wigley; one sister, Hazel Scott; and one brother, William Gilbert Wigley.Survivors are one daughter, Debra Young and husband Jack and Marcia Walker same as daughter all of Booneville; three sons, Marty McEntire, Monty McEntire and James A. McEntire all of Booneville; and one grandchild, Dakota T. McEntire and Victoria Hardy loved as a grandchild; many nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Brian Christopher Wigley, Joseph Allen Wigley, Charlie R. Scott, Matthew K. Scott, Kenneth E. Scott, Sr., Kenneth E. Scott, Jr. and Dewayne Scott. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Scott, John Cummings and Mike Hardy.Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the funeral home.Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Booneville Funeral Service Chapel with burial at Carolan Cemetery under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.
